She was born about a mile from her place of death ; her maiden name was Taylor ; where she settled with her first husband, Joshua Angell, by whom she had 7 sons and 5 daughters, of whom 4 followed her to the grave. She married, 2d, Joseph Potter, of Providence, and re- sided there a few years after his death; she married at the age of about 70 Mr. Winsor, with whom she lived 15 years; after his death she returned to her estate at Scitu- ate. She could read without glasses to the last ; was some deaf ; otherwise she was very remarkably preserved. Patriot of
