READSBORO, VT., FEB. 14, 1901.

TO THE TOWN OF READSBORO :-

In my annual report as Superintendent of schools, I submit to you the following:

I have visited the schools when I thought conditions and needs required, and have done all I could, although that is but little, for the advancement of the schools in the town of Readsboro. The following is a brief retros- pect of the work in the schools.

Dist. No. 1 .- Advancement has been made and things are encouraging.

No. 2 .- Small attendance, but the work has been faithfully performed.

No. 4 .- Improvement has been made-marked ad- vancement.

No. 5 .- The grammar school has had a year of com- parative success. Everyone seems well pleased.

The intermediate department has made rapid ad- vancement.

The primary department has been very successful in the work.

No. 6 .- The attendance has been good and the work has been faithfully performed.

No. 7 .- Taking the year as a whole, much advance- ment has been made.

All the schools are in a condition where rapid ad- vancement may be made.

Yours respectfully,

FRED'K T. KENYON,
