In this list the state is Vermont and the town is Wells unless otherwise stated. There may be small mistakes in the spelling of names owing to the age of the original copy and the fact that at that time many clerks had very little education.


This is a copy of the first 50 years records of Wells, Vt. There were probably other marriages which were not recorded or so badly worn that they could not be read when these copies were made.
