BY -LAWS.
ARTICLE 1. The Pastor of this Church shall be a mem- er of it, and shall be its standing Moderator.
ART. 2. At any business meeting, in the absence of the Ioderator, or in his inability to serve, a moderator pro tem. hall be chosen.
ART. 3. Any ordinary business of the Church may be ransacted at the close of the first and third weekly meetings or social worship in each month, or at the last Church meeting receding each communion service.
ART. 4. Special business meetings may be called at any ime by a notice being given from the desk on the Sabbath, or y a written notice being served upon the resident members at east two days previous to the time of meeting.
ART. 5. At the first regular meeting in January a clerk shall be chosen to keep the records of the Church, and a list of the members; and he shall hold his office until his successor is appointed.
ART. 6. The Lord's Supper shall be celebrated on the first Sabbath of the months of January, March, May, July, September and November of each year; and the weekly meet- ing last preceding each communion service shall be especially

devoted to preparation for the proper reception of that ord nance.
ART. 7 .. Members of this Church removing elsewher will be expected to take letters of dismission from this Churchesons- and recommendation to the Church with which they worship Perfecti 4. Jo Acts 5: 3 within one year from the time of their change of residencel or else to report themselves to the officers of this Church a. b. often as once in twelve months.
ART. 8. All letters given by this Church shall be valid:3, six months only from their date, and members, receiving suc Almighty letters, shall not vote in business meetings of the Church, ex cept on return of the letter.
ART. 9. In case of discipline the course of procedur shall be that laid down in Mat. 18: 15-17.
ART. 10. Any alteration in these rules may be made a any regular meeting of the Church by a three-fourths vote ( the members present : provided, that notice of the proposed. Hel change has been given at a previous regular meeting. Ther TIsai, 8: may also be a temporary suspension of any one of these rule when the Church shall so direct.

COVENANT.
You do now, in the presence of the heart-searching God, and before angels and men, solemnly avouch the Lord Jeho- vah, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, to be your God, 2 Jesus Christ to be your Saviour,3 and the Holy Ghost to be your Sanctifier ;4 promising that, denying ungodliness and every worldly lust, you will live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world,5 giving up yourself (selves) and yours, to be the Lord's. 6
You also bind yourself (selves) to walk with us in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord,7 discharging, ac- cording to your station, the various duties of familys and se- cret prayer,9 keeping the Holy Sabbath,10 and attending pub- lic worship,11 and covenanting that you will walk with your fellow-members in all brotherly love, as becomes the followers of Jesus, 12 and that you will submit to the government of Christ in this Church, to all the administrations and censures of it, so far as they accord with the word of God. 13

Then doth this Church also affectionately receive you to its communion and fellowship, bidding you a cordial welcome, as a fellow-citizen (fellow-citizens) with the saints, and of the household of God.
And, solemnly renewing this day our covenant with God and with each other, we do also now, humbly depending on the grace of God, solemnly covenant with you, severally promis- ing you our prayers and christian love, and engaging to walk with you, as becometh saints, in all christian watchfulness, charity, and brotherly kindness.
And now, " unto Him that is able to keep you from fall- ing, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory, with exceeding joy, to the only wise God, our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and for- ever ; Amen."
