WARNING
Annual March Meeting-1913
The legal voters of the town of Brandon, Vt., are hereby notified and warned to meet at the Town Hall, Brandon, Vt., on Tuesday, March 4th, 1913, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon to act on the following business, namely:
1st. To elect officers for the year ensuing.
2nd. To see if the town will vote to authorize the selectmen to ap- point one or two road commissioners (In accordance with act No. 107 of the Sessions Laws of 1910.)
3rd. To see if the town will vote to raise money upon the Grand List of the town to defray the expenses of the town and to pay any indebted- ness of the town.
4th. To see if the town will vote to appropriate money to aid in the support and maintenance of the Brandon Free Public Library.
5th. To see if the town will vote to appropriate money to defray the expenses of the proper observance of Memorial Day.
6th. To see if the town will vote to grant licenses for the sale of in- toxicating liquors.
7th. To see if the town will vote to grant fifth class licenses for the sale of intoxication liquors.
8th. To see if the town will vote to appropriate money for perman- ent highways to take advantage of the state appropriation for this pur- pose.
9th. To see if the town will vote to appropriate money for the bene- fit of the Brandon Concert Band.
10th. To see if the town will vote to instruct the selectmen (repre- senting the town) to participate in the forthcoming memorial exercises in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Stephen A. Douglas, who was born in Brandon April 13th, 1813, and to see if the town will vote to appropriate money for the proper observance of the occasion and to aid in the expense of a memorial tablet.
11th. To see if the freemen will vote to accept or reject the pro- posed articles of amendment to the constitution of Vermont.
12th. To do any other business proper to be done when met.
