Special Fire Warning Notice
The Town Board of the Town of Hale, County of Trempealeau, deems it imprudent and dangerous to set fires upon any land within said Town. Therefore in accord with the provisions of Section 26.13 Wisconsin Statutes, a
Year Around Fire Season
is hereby declared and every person is forbidden to set fire on any land in this Town from APRIL 1, 1962 until APRIL 1, 1963 or until otherwise ordered by the Town Board.
Section 26.13 (3), Wisconsin Statutes is as follows: When- ever the Town Board of any Town located outside of a for- est protection district deems it imprudent to set fires upon any land within the Town, they shall post or cause to be posted in five public places in each Township in such Town, notices, which shall be prepared by the commission, forbid- ding the setting of fires therein, and after the posting of such notices no person shall set any fire upon any land in said Town except for warming the person or cooking food, until written permission has been received from one of the fire wardens of said Town.
