FORESTERS OF AMERICA.
The objects of this order are to unite fraternally all white males of good character between the ages of eighteen and fifty years, to aid its sick mem- bers, bury its dead, give relief to their widows and orphans, to find employ- ment for the unemployed members, and all other benevolent purposes. There are one hundred and seventy Courts in this State, with a membership of about 20,000, also auxiliaries which are known as Knights of Sherwood Forest, Com- panions of the Forest of America, and the Junior Courts.
The Supreme head of the Order is known as the Supreme Court and was organized in Minneapolis on August 15, 1889, they having on that day seceded from the Ancient Order of Foresters, whose Supreme head is in

England. The Supreme Court meets bi- ennially and the next meeting will be held in Boston, in August, 1909. The Supreme Court comprises of 1,884 Courts, with a total membership in the United States of 246.495 members.
