FORESTERS OF AMERICA,


The objects of this order are to unite fraternally all white males of good character between the ages of eighteen and fifty years, to aid its sick members, bury its dead, give relief to their wid- ows and orphans, to find employment for the unemployed members, and all other benevolent purposes. There are one hun- dred and seventy Courts in this State, with a membership of 20,685. also auxiliaries, which are known as Knights of Sherwood Forest, Companions of the Forest of America and Junior Courts.


The Supreme Head of the Order is known as the Supreme Court, and was organized in Minneapolis on August 15, 1889, they having on that day seceded from the Ancient Order of Foresters, whose Supreme Head is in England. The Supreme Court meets biennially and the next session will be held in De- troit, Michigan, on the last Tuesday in August, 1911.


The Supreme Court comprises 1,879 Courts, with a total membership in the United States of 232,450 members.
