The Supreme Head of the Order is known as the Supreme Court, and was organized in Minneapolis on August 15, 1889, they having on that day seceded from the Ancient Order of Foresters, whose Supreme Head is in England. The Supreme Court meets biennially and the next session will be held in Atlantic City, N. J., on the last Tuesday in August, 1919. The Supreme Court comprises 1,865 Courts, with a total membership in the United States of 241,399 members.
