STREETS AND NUMBERS.


On September 10, 1890, after the greater part of our can- vass was completed, the ordinance changing the names of streets, and also the system of numbering, was adopted by the city trustees. Upon consultation, however, with Mr. Geo. Sturtevant, the postmaster, an !! others, the publisher concluded to retain the old names and numbering, believing that they would be more useful for the present than the new. Under the ordinance above mentioned, the names of streets have been changed as follows :-
