This Order sustains the Good Templars' Home for Orphans, located at Vallejo, California. The build- ings, which are capacious, elegant and comfortable, were erected in 1869, by the Good Templars of Califor- nia and Nevada. It is under the control of the Grand Lodge of the Order, but its title is not meant to con- vey any ides of exclusiveness as to the class admitted to its sheltering offices. To be a homeless orphan is the only passport required at its portals.
