This policy calls for one increase in premium at the beginning of the fourth year, but dividends which begin at the end of the third year may be applied to offset this increase. Estimates of future costs cannot be made at this time since future dividends depend entirely upon future experience. Current earnings of the Company, however, are sufficient to provide dividends at least as great as the increase in the premium. As a matter of fact, the first dividend payable in 1932 on similar policies issued in 1929, as indicated above, is actually in excess of the increase in premium.
Information in form as above, for other ages and amounts, on request.

THE OLD TIME METHODS
CALIGRAPH K
S YPEED! We think of it in terms of the radio, telephone, automobile. What speed the modern typewriter offers. Not so very long ago, poli- cies were written in long hand. Then came the Caligraph, forerunner of the typewriter. To go back to the long hand days, when good and fast penmen were in demand; and policy clerks had to make register entries and write applications (now daily reports). Those were the days when women were unknown in that position. Other differences were that policies were twice as large as at present, and had to be copied in long hand in large registers.

CAUTION .
Pay no money in advance to itinerant Directory Canvassers. We are led to mention this from the fact that certain parties have been fraudulently using our publications as specimens, and by that means collecting money in advance. Before signing an order, see that it has the name of R. L. POLK & CO. printed thereon. We ask no payment until the work is delivered, and our solicitors have strict orders not to take payment for either advertisements or subscriptions.
