NATIONAL CITY DIRECTORY.
National City, the terminus of the Southern Califor- nia railroad, adjoins San Diego on the south, and among its inhabitants are many of the county's most enterpris- ing citizens. It is the location of the headquarters of the San Diego Land and Town Company, and the National City and Otay railroad.
STREET GUIDE.
Commencing at the San Diego city limits, the streets run- ning east and west are First, Second, Third, etc., to the city limits between National City and Chula Vista.
Taking National avenue as a base line, the streets running north and south are called avenues. Those on the west of Na- tional avenue are First avenue, Second avenue, etc., to the Bay front. Those on the east of National avenue are A avenue, B av- enue, etc., as far as the streets are laid out.
