Newspapers to any part of the United States, to regular sub- scribers, payable quarterly in advance. Weekly, not over 4 oz. 5 cents a quarter, and 5 cents for each additional 4 oz. or part thereof; and an additional 5 cents for each additional issue. -Dailies six times a week. 30 cents a quarter. All other regular periodicals sent to subscribers, 1 cent for 4 oz. or less, and 1 cent for each additional 4 oz. Weekly newspapers free in the County where published.

Books, not over 4 oz. 4 cents prepaid; and 4 cents for each additional 4 oz. or part thereof.
Unbound miscellaneous packages not over 4 oz. 2 cents pre- paid, and 2 cents for each additional 4 oz. or part thereof ;- these include transient papers, proofsheets, manuscripts for books, cards, samples, photographs, blanks, maps, engravings, envelopes, paper, cuttings, roots, and all similar articles allowed in mails. Such packages must be sent under covers so open that the contents may be discerned; and any communication in writing subjects the whole to letter postage.
