This Indenture made between Samuel Bowrs of Derby in the County of New Haven in New England of the one partie, and George Bayman of the same Town & County of the other partie, Witnesseth that I the sd Samuell Bowrs for and in considiration of the sume of five shillings in currant pay of the Collony, and on engagement to pay the purchase to the Town, have given granted bargained & sold aliened enfeoffed & confirmed, & doe by these presents give grant bargain & sell, alien enfeoffe & confirm unto the said George Bayman & to his heires & assignes forever, a certain par- cell of swamp land, lying & being in a certain swamp comonly called David's hither meadow Swamp within the Township of the sd Derby, containing twelve rods at each end thirty three rods at each side, by estimation two acres more or less & is bounded on the South with that land which the Town gave to the sd Sam11 Bowres, North with the com [ ] land, west with John Chattfield his land, East with George Bayman his land all Swamp land together with all the trees stones springs or water courses with all ot [ ] privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging the sd George Bayman is to Have and to Hold to him his heires & assignes forever.
