BLACK TYPE

§ The names appearing in BLACK TYPE in this directory represent the energy and enterprise of the city and it is a pleasure for the pub- lishers of this directory to have the opportunity to make the public acquainted with them. Those in black type are the people who accomplish the wonders in business here and make Atlanta what it is. They recognize and support all the public necessities and things needful to improve and serve a CITY of Atlanta's magnificent possibilities. They are not the drones and sponges who never support anything, but seek rather to gain by others' hard work and money. When you patronize those in black type you patronize men and firms who will PATRONIZE YOU in the same broad manner that you patronize them.
