FIFTH WARD -That all that portion of Des Moines included within (od following limits, to-wit : commencing at the north east corner of the corpo- ration, running thence west along the northern thoundary of the samelid the center of the channel of the Des Moines river; thende down the center of the channel of said river to a point where the center of Keokuk street would intersdet the same if continued west ; thener easterly along the cent ter of said street to the east boundary of the corporation ; thence north. along the east line of the corporation to the place of beginning, be and the same is hereby declared to constitute the fifth ward.
