Fourth Ward-The fourth ward shall consist of all that portion of the city lying east of the east bound- ary line of the first and third wards and west of the following line:

Beginning in the center of Section 22, on the south line of said city; thence north through the center of Sections 22, 15 and 10 to the middle of the Des Moines river; thence nor- therly up the middle of the Des Moines river to Sixth av bridge where it crosses the river.

Fifth Ward-The fifth ward shall consist of all that portion of the said city lying east of the east boundaries of the third and fourth wards and lying west of a line as follows, to- . wit:

Beginning in the midde of the Des Moines river, where it is intersected by the center line running north through Section 10, Township 78, Range 24; thence eastwardly along the middle of said river to a point opposite Seventh; thence north on Seventh to Locust; thence east on Locust to Pennsylvania av;" thence north from Locust on Pennsylvania av to Maple thence west on Maple to the center of Pennsylvania

Sixth Ward-The sixth ward shall be composed of all that portion of territory lying east of the east boun- dary lines of the furth and fifth wards and west of the following lines:

Beginning in the center of Section 23, on the south line of said city, Range 24; thence north through the center of Sections 23, 14 and 11 to the Des Moines river; thence up the middle of the said river to a point opposite and south of the southern terminus of Sixteenth; thence north on Sixteenth to Walker; thence northeasterly on Walker to Eigh- teenth; thence north on Eighteenth to North' av; thence 'east on North av to the center line of Delaware street extended south; thence north on the line of Delaware street to the north line of the city.

Seventh Ward-The seventh ward shall. comprise all that portion of the city lying east of the east line of the sixth ward as above fixed.

VOTING PRECINCTS.

First Ward. First Precinct-The first precinct shall embrace all of the territory lying south of the Raccoon river and west of the center line of Sections 21, 16 and 9, Township 78, Range 24.

Second Precinct-The second pre- cinct shall include all of the terri- tory bounded on the east by Forty- second, on the south by Raccon river, on the west by the corporation line, 'on the north by the center line of Sections 1 and 2 Township 78,

Third Precinct- The third pre- cinct shall comprise all the territory lying north of the Raccoon river, east of Forty-second and Forty-second produced to river, west of Twenty- eighth and Twenty-eighth produced to river, and south of the center line of Sections 5 and 6, Township 78,. Range. 24.

Fourth Precinct-The fourth pre- cinct shall include all the territory lying east of Twenty-eighth and de- scribed as follows, to-wit: Beginning in the middle of the Raccoon river, on the west line of Section 8, Town- ship 78, Range 24, thence north along the west line of Sections 8 and 5, Township 78, Range 24, to the center line of Section 5 Township 78, Range 24, thence east along the center line of said Section 5, Town- ship 78, Range 24 to the center line of Seventeenth, thence south .along the center line of Seventeenth to the center line of Grand av; thence west along the said center line of Grand av to the center line of Nine- teenth thence south along the center line of Nineteenth produced to the middle of the Raccoon river; thence westerly along the middle of said Raccoon river to the place of be- ginning.
