INTRODUCTORY.

We present our second City Directory of Champaign and Urbana without an apology. We have spared neither pains nor expense to give to our patrons a book in every way up to their expectations and worthy of their liberal patronage.

The citizens of Champaign and Urbana, as well as strangers, will find the Student's Directory, to be found on pages 365 to 465, a very great convenience. This feature alone is worth the subscription price.

By the method used by Directory publishers everywhere, this book shows the population of Champaign and Urbana, including University of Illinois students, to be 28,320. This is by using the multiple 2, which is the smallest ever used, and shows a phenomenal growth in the Twin Cities over the year 1904. A new map of both cities has been drawn by the city engineer of each city and is correct to date.

We wish to thank all who have in any way contributed to the success of the Champaign and Urbana City Directory.

Very sincerely, PANTAGRAPH PTG. & STA. Co.
