NOTE-The maximum amount for which a single Money Order may be issue is $100. When a larger sum is to be sent additional Orders must be obtained. Any number of Orders may be drawn on any Money Order Office; but if orders are drawn in excess of $200 on any one day upon an office of the 4th class notice of the fact by letter (or Form 6037) is to be properly sent to the Department by the issuing Postmaster so that provision may be made for payment.
