St. Paul Cemetery
St. Paul Cemetery, in the central part of Ohio Township, is on State Road 58. St. Paul Lutheran Church was torn down many years ago. This is now a community bur- ial ground and is cared for by an inter-denominational Board of Trustees.
The bodies of some of the pioneer residents were moved here from the Baptist Cemetery after that church burned. Among these was Marcus Clark, who was the founder of the Bap- tist church and preached for that congregation several years He and his wife, Electa Sherman Clark, came here in covered wagons. Marcus Clark as related to George Rogers Clark.
This cemetery was recorded by Mrs. W.H.Conner
and Mrs. Corinne Noblitt Taylor.
