The Minona Summer School

The Summer School is the fourth or summer term of the regular college year. During this term the regular faculty will all be present, and also a number of other instructors, to assist us in taking care of the increased attendance. The large range and variety in our summer work seldom fail to meet the needs of any student.

College Work, in Mathematics. Language, History. Science, Eng- lish, and Psychology, is offered to meet the needs of both beginners, and advanced students.

Teachers' Professional Courses, in Psychology, Methods, Observa- tion, and Philosophy of Education, are maintained.

Music-Voice, Violin, Piano, Public School Music, History and Theory of Music, under the very best instructors and at moderate cost.

Supervisors' Courses, in Public School Music, and Public School Drawing, will be under the direction of masters of their arts.

Domestic Science Courses, including Cooking, Sewing, Millinery, Chemistry, Sanitary Science, Hygiene, and Household Economics. Primary Courses-Primary Methods, Story Telling, Manual Train- ing, Songs, Plays and Games,

High School Work is offered in almost every High School subject to enable pupils to make up credits for their home school. Many superintendents send pupils to us every summer, and all are pleased with the results.

Common Branches-Grammar, Arithmetic, Physiology, Geography, History, Reading, and Writing, are all presented from a teacher's point of view, and by skillful teachers.

Business Courses, in Bookkeeping, Shorthand, Typewriting. Grammar. Correspondence, Office Practice, Commercial Arithmetic, and Commercial Geography, prepare young men and women for good office positions, and for teaching the commercial subjects in the High Schools.

Winona College is a permanent educational institution, in session the year round. It maintains a strong faculty, it holds to high standards, its credits are good everywhere. Its location is the most beautiful in the United States, its social and religious influ- ences are the very best, its expenses are the lowest at which good accommodations can be furnished: $60.00 a quarter, or $165.00 a year, including Board, Room, Tuition, Heat, Light, and Laundry Privileges.

Regular Summer Term Opens June 9. Fall Term Opens September 22.
