LAND AGENCY.

North Western Agency FOR SALE AND LOCATION OF LAND WARRANTS AND THE ENTRY OF LANDS.

The undersigned (Brothers) have formed a co-partnership for the purpose of acting as Agents and Attorneys for others, in making selec- tions and entries of Government Lands, and in selling and locating Land Warrants in the North-Western States-more especially in the State of Iowa.

In offering their services to those who may be interested in Land Warrants or desirous of entering lands, they would say that with their knowledge of the country, the direction of Internal Improvements, and the sections of country to which the greater amount of emigration is tending, the undersigned feel confident in their ability to make as good, and in most cases, better selections for parties than they can for them- selves, and thereby save them the expense of a journey, loss of time, and much of the expense necessary for making surveys when only a small quantity of land is to be entered.

Charges for making selections and Locating Land Warrants, and to cover Land Office Fees, will be as follows :

For Locating 40 acre Warrants and for Office Fees, 4 80

$5 00 | For Locating 120 acre Warrants and for Office Fees, 66 12.(0 66

$10 00

8 00 160

66

The above amounts must always accompany the Warrants. A reasonable deduction on above rates will be made to those having a large number of Warrants located Charges for making entries with cash, will be same as above, with the deduction of the Land Office Fees, ($1 for every 40 acres) charged by Office only in location of Warrants.

Ky The undersigned will sell Warrants for a commission of 2 1-2 per cent. on proceeds of sales.

All communications and business directed to either of the undersigned, at their respective places of residence, will be promptly and properly attended to.

R. J. GATLING & BROTHER, West side South Meridian St., Indianapolis, Ind. W. J. GATLING & BROTHER, Fort Des Moines, Iowa.
