F VERY buyer of engravings appreciates deep, sharp, clear etching. The "Acid Blast" process gives an unrivaled result in this respect. And, in addition, the dots are of such uniform strength that the plate has a superior wearing quality.

In the old-fashioned "tub process" the dots are frequently so undermined by irregu- lar etching that they easily break down in the printing or come off when the plate is electrotyped.

"Acid Blast" halftones require less "make ready." do not fill up easily, electrotype better and print better than the tub-etched kind. The "Acid Blast" process is much quicker than the old method. The time thus saved enables us to give additional inspec- tion and careful finishing touches on each halftone without extra charge.

With all these advantages, our "Acid Blast" halftone costs you no more than the common kind.
