Two Alma delegations-origin of Watson and Sellers factions. Watson delegation H. Schmitz, chairman, seated. Sellers delegation led by W. H. Lyons bolted the convention, chairman and secretary going out with bolters. Convention was reorganized with H. McKee chairman and, G. W. Greenwood, secretary. Bolters repaired to Mc- Elroy's store and elected J. C. Henderson chairman and C. C. Little secretary.


Extra mill tax alleged to be assessed for banking purposes the leading argument used in the campaign. The candidates first named were nominated by the Sellers convention.
