FOREWORD
The features of the DIRECTORY which were new last year and in some cases represented quite radical changes, have been very generally approved and are therefore continued in the twenty-sixtlı volume.
The map is corrected to date and the names of all residents of Aberdeen and of the territory between the Brookline line and Commonwealth Avenue are included in the DIRECTORY. The new department containing a record of Births, Marriages, Death, etc. is continued and in time will be most valuable for reference. The membership of the various clubs is corrected and the late rules and regulations of the Post Office Department are given in a convenient form for ready reference. The Parcel's Post is a most valuable addition to our Postal facilities with Foreign Countries.
The enterprise and continued success of Brookline business men is evi- denced throughout the book
Respectfully, W. A. GREENOUGH & CO. Compilers, Printers & Publishers
