THE SOCIETY PAPER OF BOSTON.
THE BOSTON SATURDAY EVENING GAZETTE is peculiarly a Boston paper, and has been for two-thirds of a century the leading family week's journal of the city. Its circulation is largely among the most intelligent and influential class of readers.
In the discussion of topics relating to
LITERATURE, POLITICS, ART. MUSIC AND THE DRAMA, SOCIETY, AND THE GENERAL AFFAIRS OF THE DAY,
it eniploys the best writers; and among these are gentlemen and ladies who are recognized as the first authorities in the specialties of which they trent.
The GAZETTE is a special favorite with the ladies. Its "Cut and About " columns contain a larger amount of matter of interest to this class thun can be found in any weekly journal in the country, and have given it a reputation in Society circles everywhere. As a hotel paper it stands second to none in extent and thoroughness of information. It is taken in clubs throughout the United States. In fact, as a SOCIETY, HOTEL, and CLUB PAPER it is without a rival.
The GAZETTE gives close attention to local news, and is the only Sunday paper in Boston, except the " Herald," that has the advantage of the Associated Press telegraphic despatches.
As an advertising medium, the advantages of the GAZETTE are obvious, and are widely appreciated. No journal bas a more select and desirable advertising patronage ; and by the Book Trade, the Hotels of the Country, the Dry-Good& Trade, and in specialties in which the patronage ofladies is solicited. it is most of all sought.
"Fire of the Brightest and moment. reising papers in New England."- Harper's Weekly. "The BOSTON SATURDAY EVENING GAZETTE continues to be conducted with diligent eutratorien, and to maintain its chains to the regard of its numerous friends by the diversity and ability manifested in its well-filled columns from week to week."
