WARRANT FOR TOWN MEETING.
NORFOLK, S6.
To either of the Constables of the Town of Braintree.
GREETING :
In the name of the Commonwealth of. Massachusetts, you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of the town of Braintree, qualified to vote in elections and town affairs, to meet at the Town Hall, in said town, on Monday, the second day of March next, at nine o'clock in the forenoon, to act on the follow- ing articles, namely :
1st. To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting.
2d. To hear the report of the several town officers, and act thereon,
3d. To determine the manner of repairing the highways, townways, and bridges the ensuing year.
4th. To see if the town will restrain horses and neat cattle from running at large the ensuing year.
5th. To choose all necessary town officers for the ensuing year.
6th. To raise such sums of money as may be necessary to de- fray the expenses of the town the ensuing year, and make appro- priations of the same.
7th. To raise such sums of money as may be deemed expedient for the purpose of schooling, and to determine the manner in which the same (and any other money to be drawn from the State and town school funds the present year) shall be divided among the several school districts.
