The Auditors visited the Almshouse on Feb. 1st, 1890, and made a thorough examination and appraisal of all property be- longing to the town. They found it in a neat and excellent condition and in their judgment receiving good care. The Au- ditors believed the time had come when a conservative valuation should be placed upon the property there found, which will account for the decreased valuation from former years.
