Hamilton, February 28, 1905.

Report of Tree Warden

At the last annual meeting $75 was appropriated to be ex- pended in the suppression of the Brown Tail Moths that had made their appearance on some of the shade trees.

About fifteen thousand nests were gathered and destroyed.

Mr. Matthews furnished one hundred Norway Maples-fifty of the trees were set and fifty more are ready to set in the Spring. About one hundred trees were set during the season and others were trimmed or removed.

The Tree Warden gave personal attention to the trimming of trees on the telegraph and telephone lines and only branches were removed that obstructed the service.

Mr. Meyer as usual, very kindly furnished men to help set inost of the trees.
