Information denied from my Cinqueture with the First Parish or Congregational Brimfield and other Sources has led me to the conclusion that the plan adopted by the Parish some years Since Al annually assessing oport their Church Slips and aminute the fficient to muh their current expenzens expecting to realize from the rent thereof such an income as to obviate the mussity of any tax upin. the members of the Parish for ordinary Parochial expenses. has out only failed to secure the desired result. but The great increase in the yearly expenses of the Parish (notwithstanding their income) from other sources) necessitated such an addition to the amount to be assessed upon the lips over and above the sum required when the plane was adopted that it is thought by some. especially by kersuns having large families to provide ter to be. not only a burden but a hinderance to such a face and general attendance of the people upin the services of the Church
