article I Name. This organition shall be known as the Universalist Parish of Orleans, massachusetts article II. allegiance. This Parish acknowledges the Ecclesiastical authority of the Universalist General Convention and the jurisdiction of the massachusetts Universalist Convention; regards itself as fledged to Co-operate in such measures for raising funds and for fostering and Extending all the interests of the Church as the General and State Conventions may prescribe.

Officers I The officers of the Parish shall be a President, a Clerk, a Treasmer, and a com- mitter of two all of whowe shall be Elected by written or fruited ballot, and together shall constitute the trustees. The clerk and Treasurer shall be sworn to the faithful discharge of their duties and a record there of shall be made. at Each annual meeting auditors shall be Elected to serve for the year.


articleVI. The Pastor to Clergyman shall be called to or continue in, the Pastoral charge of this Parish, unless he has the fellowship of the Universalist Sentral Convention.


article VI, Convention Funds. This Parish shall contri- bute cach year, according to its ability, in and of the funds of the General and State Conventions in conformity with their laws.


article VIII. Delegates to State Convention 1. The Trustees way appoint the Delegates, to which this Parish is Entitled to attend the annual or any special session of the massachusetts Universalist Con- vention, provided that the Delegates have not been Elected of a previous legal meeting of the Parish. Delegates shall be Elected only from the legal members of the Parish. 2. It shall be the duty of the Clerk to issue under his hand, to Delegates so opforited on Elected certificates of their appointment a Election


article IX. Duties of officers 1. The worderator shall preside of all meeting of the Parish and Trustees, and appoint all committees, unless otherwise ordered. In his absence a suod- Erator potem. shall be oppointed.


2. The clerk shall beek correct minister of the proceedings of all meeting of the Parish; notify all officers and members of their Election; give due notice fall meetings of the Parish a its officers; have the custody of all the books, Japers, re,, belonging to the Parish the custody of which is not other- wise provided for, and faithfully deliver the same to his successor. He shall prepare the reports which the Parish is required to make by the laws of the General Convention. 3. The treasurer stall receive all money. belonging to the Parish, and shall Jay all orders chely drawn upon him. He shall


keep faithful accounts of his transactions in the books of the Parish, which shall be annually Examined by the Auditors and shall make a report to the annual weeking. He shall have the custody of all the title- Lopers, on Evidence of stock on other property, belonging to the Parish, and shall deliver the same to his successor.


4. The Trustees shall let the jews and provide for the collection of all the revenues of the Parish.
