BOARD OF HEALTH
Report of the Board of Health
Honorable Mayor and Council :
The annual report of the Board of Health is hereby tendered for your perusal.
Given the lowest appropriation in years we were able to function and had an unexpended balance of $16.28.
The health of the city during 1938 was exceptional. Never do we remem- ber so few cases of contagion having been reported in any one year,
Complaints were likewise at a minimum.
We trust we can have another such year in 1939.
Respectfully submitted,
NEWBURYPORT BOARD OF HEALTH,
RUSSELL B. HOYT, Chairman.
