at a meeting of the Votable Inhabitants the Town of Concord Leagaly warned as appeared by the Return on the warrants for Said Meeting begun at the Town House. and for Conveniancy ajourned to the Meeting house in Said Town on Monday the first Day of June 1778 John Curing Esq? was Chosen Moderator Voted that the method for the Inhabitants of the Said Town at their Present Meeting for Bringing in their votes Should be by writing on the Same Concur or non- Concur, which being Brot in accordingly and being Sorted and Counted by the Moderator, there appeared ninty four Concurring + one non concurring with the Churches Vots in Chusing Mr. Igra Ripley for a gospel minister for this place Voted to give US. Ezra Ripley five Hundred and fifty Pounds Lawful money for a Settlement in Said Town Provided he accepts of the Call Given him by the Church and Town of Concord and that

That we a Committee of the Town this Day Chosen to take into Consideration and Report to the Town of Concord now assembled a method for Stating and Establishing a yearly Dolary for Uh. Egna Ripley upon his accepting the Call given him to the works of the gospel Ministry in this town, are unammously of opinion that the Town pay Mr. Egra Ripley yearly one Hundred Pounds, agreeable to the price of the articles hereafter that is - mentioned + stated
