FACTS ABOUT HOOD'S MILK
A Perfect Milk is a Perfect Food.
H. P. Hood & Sons originated and employed hygienic methods in the production of PURE, CLEAN and SAFE Milk in the country years previous to any measures being taken by the Boards of Health or United States Department of Agriculture.
During sixty-four years of continuous service not a case of disease has been traced to Hood's Milk.
The food value of Hood's Milk is attested by sixty-four years of constantly increasing sales.
The name of "HOOD" is and has been for more than sixty years a synonym for excellence of dairy products and honesty and liberality in commercial dealings.
H. P. Hood & Sons have always maintained the highest standard in the quality of their dairy products and sell milk, cream and butter at the lowest price for which a PURE, CLEAN and SAFE article can be put upon the market.
The transportation facilities from their sources of supply in the country to the con- sumers in the city, and their local and suburban delivery system are unexcelled.
Hood Farm Milk won an Award of Merit for excellence of quality at the National Dairy Show Association Exhibition held under direction of the United States Department of Agriculture at Chicago, Illinois, February, 1906, after having taken the longest journey of any of the twenty-one lots of milk exhibited.
Hood Farm Milk also won the First Premium for Excellence of Quality offered by the Granite State Dairyman's Association at an exhibition held at Peterborough, N. H., December 7, 1906.
Hood's Butter was awarded sweepstakes and first premium by the Granite State Dairyman's Association at their Annual Meeting and Exhibition held at Exeter, New Hampshire, January 14, 1910.
Hood's Milk, Cream and Butter are supplied fresh every day in more than 100,000 homes, hotels and restaurants of Greater Boston.
No other milk dealers have expended the money to safeguard the health and happi- ness of their customers by employing Experts as inspectors to instruct the farmers - 1, as to the health of the herd and its protection; 2, the cleanliness of the cows and their surround- ings; 3, construction and care of the utensils ; 4, the health of the employees and the manner of milking ; 5, handling the milk ; the maintaining of a laboratory and making daily bacteriological tests and analyses; perfecting unexcelled transportation facilities and protecting the milk, cream and butter from contamination during transportation from the farm to the consumers' door, insuring them to be PURE, CLEAN and SAFE.
Hood's Cream is the Cream of Quality
