In the report of the Selectmen for 1864-65 is found also a list of fifty-nine soldiers, recruited at Boston in April, 1864, for three years' service, and paid each $125 Town Bounty, and $75 Citizens' Bounty. The names of these I do not give ; and what was paid them as bounty is also embraced in a statement of the amount paid by the town as bounty for recruits.

There is also in the same report a list of forty-three naval men for one year, and of forty-four for three years, who are entered as " credited to the State at large, but assigned to Abington. " This list is also omitted; because it does not appear that they are Abington men.
