Report of Sewer Commissioners.

To His Honor the Mayor of the City of Quincy : -

The Board of Sewerage Commissioners respectfully submits its report for the year ending Dec. 31, 1900, being its fifth an- nual report.

Early in the year a settlement of the claim of the city against the National Surety Company was made by the payment by the company of $1,100 to the City. This claim was on account of expense incurred by the City in completing contract taken from James L. Bryne last year, the National Surety Com- pany having been surety for Mr. Bryne.

Final payment under contract with the A. W. Bryne Con- struction Company was made on March 15. Later in the year final payment was made under contract with James Driscoll & Son for building sewers in Wards 1 and 3.
