The "Trustees of the Lowell Textile" are incorporated under a special act of the Massachusetts Legislature, for the purpose of establishing and maintaining a Textile School for instruction in the theory and practical art of textile and kindred branches of industry.
Instruction is given in cotton, woolen and worsted manufacturing, textile design, including deco- rative art, chemistry and dyeing, textile engineering, including mechanical and electrical, also in com- mercial languages. The courses are open to both men and women. Catalogues may be obtained from the Principal on application.
