Acts of 1897, Chapter 424.
SECTION 5. The words " official station ", as used of a person solemnizing a marriage, in chapter three hundred of the acts of the year eighteen hundred and ninety-two, shall be taken and deemed to mean the office by virtue of whichi said person solemnizes such a marriage; and to describe such office in returns of marriages the words "justice of the peace ", "minister of the gospel", " clergyman ", " priest", or " rabbi", only shall be used.
