In Middlesex county, 33 miles northwest of Boston. Rail- road station, Dunstable, 18 miles north of Concord Junction and 40 miles from Boston on Acton branch, Southern division, B. & M. R. R. The station of Tyngsboro on the main line of the Southern division is three miles east of Dunstable village, and this point also affords electric communication with the street rail- way system of eastern Massachusetts. The only postoffice is Dunstable, at the village. Town incorporated Oct. 16, 1673. Population, in 1905, 412. Agriculture is the chief pursuit, manufactures being confined to lumber and granite. No license.
