An examination of these tables shows that we have paid $7.96 more for the instruction of each pupil in the High School than 1941, and 51 cents more per pupil for supplies.


The elementary schools have cost 42 cents less per pupil for instruction, and 2 cents less for supplies.


The amount spent for the school year 1942 was $13.21, or 27 cents less than was spent in 1941. The amount yielded for each child in the average membership of the schools for 1942, not including the vocational schools, was $94.91.
