ANNUAL REPORT.

AUDITORS' REPORT,

The undersigned, Auditors of accounts, appointed at the annual town meeting in March, 1882, respectfully report that they have examined the accounts of the late Treas- urer, George Price; also those of the present Treasurer, and find the books correctly kept, with proper vouchers for all payments made by them.

We found the amount of cash on hand at time of closing the account of the late Treasurer, (July 27, 1882), was six thousand one hundred forty-one dollars and fifty-one cents, ($6,141.51), which was carried to account of present Treas- urer.

We have examined the account of the Selectmen, and find vouchers for all payments authorized by them and the amount of money there stated, as approved by them, cor- responds with the amount charged by the Treasurer.

Collectors' reports have been examined and found correct, and they hold proper vouchers for all money reported by them as paid Treasurer.

We find a decided improvement in the manner the road surveyors' books have been kept, and the Auditors express the hope that next year each book will show all moneys received and expended. None of their appropriations have been overdrawn.

CHAS. E. BLISS, HENRY K. W. ALLEN, Auditors. GEORGE W. CHEEVER,

Attleborough, March 6, 1883.
