JOHNSON DIER

The superiority of this Machine is in its Great Power, and the rapidity of its operation. The Knife passes through the paper with a SLIDING MOTION.

The cut is Clean, Smooth and True. The Knife having descended to a given point rises im- mediately, without reversing the motion of the machine. There are both back and side gauges. The Machine is very Simple in its Construction, and will not readily get out of order.

REFERENCES.

One of the MINERVA PAPER CUTTERS has been in use in my Office for two months past, thus far accomplishing fully what was claimed for it. GEO. B. WATSON, Job Printer, 21 FRANKLIN ST.

BOSTON, April 11, 1870.

"I am using one of your MINERVA PAPER CUTTERS, and like it much; I had previously used the SHERIDAN, but think yours does the work just as well, and a little quicker, with a saving of about two-thirds in the cost of the machine." J. NIGHSWANDER, BOSTON, April 11, 1870. 35 Batterymarch Street.
