The Union Telegraph Company.

OFFICES IN SPRINGFIELD, Main Street, opposite Exchange Hotel, And in the Massasoit House.

The main lines of this Company consist of fire wires between New York and Boston, on two distinct routes-one via Stamford, New Haven, Hartford, Springfield and Worcester, following the line of the railroad; the other via Bridgeport, Norwich, N. London, and Providence, by the turnpike. Its branches extend from Bos- ton to Lowell and Nashua ; from Providence to Warren and Bris- tol, R. I. ; from Worcester to Milbury and Milford ; from Boston to Pawtucket, Taunton, Fall River, New Bedford and Newport. Its connections at New York are with the Albany and Buffalo Morse Line, (the only direct line to the West,) with the Southern and Western lines ; and at Boston, with the principal line running to the Canadas.

The lines of the Union Telegraph Company, although so numer- ous, and covering such a wide and extended territory, are never- theless kept at all times in such perfect condition as to insure to the public the object for which they were established, viz. "re- liability." It is the determination of the managers of these lines, to give the public such facilities as can be offered by no other line, for the prompt transmission of all business intrusted to its charge, inasmuch as the means are within their control.

1 Tariff to all points upon the main lines, 25 cents for first ten words, and 3 cents for each additional. To all places beyond this Company's line, the tariff is invariably as low as by any other route. For further information apply at the offices. CHAS. F. WOOD, Supt. R. S. RAYMOND, Agent.

ONE PRICE SYSTEM AND NO CREDIT.

We have not only the experience of many Respectable Merchants who have adhered strictly to these terms, but the testimony of our own experience is sufficient evidence to teach us that it is the only safe, sure, and satis- factory method of doing business.

Disgusted with the low bantering method of trading, and believing it beneath the dignity of any man aiming at success, and an untarnished reputation, to do business on a system that obliges him to ask 50 per cent. over the selling prices of his goods, leaving the purchasers altogether upon their own judgment, and in ninety-nine cases to one, deceive themselves. While on the other hand, by the

ONE PRICE SYSTEM,

Which shall be carried out by us with fidelity, all obtain goods at the same prices. No one, however inexperienced, will be liable to pay above the LOWEST MARKET PRICES, which shall always be marked in plain figures on each article, so that

WHO RUNS MAY READ.

We wish to thank our many kind friends for their very liberal support during the past year, and to assure them of our intention to pursue the above course that has hitherto given such great satisfaction.
