0 UR manufacturing plant at Beverly, Massachu- setts is composed of seventeen buildings of reinforced concrete construction, with floor space of 1,089,890 square feet or 25 acres. There are four floors of manufacturing space, 1120 feet long, 60 feet wide.


T HE power house, 140 feet x 90 feet, is equipped with two 750 K. W., one 1500 K. W., and one 3000 K. W., Curtis turbine engines, having four batteries of boilers, 4000 H. P. capacity, which drive all of the machinery throughout the works by 553 induction motors of a capacity ranging from 1/4 H. P. to 125 H. P. each.


F ULLY equipped rest rooms, with matrons in attendance, are provided women employees.


A completely equipped Emergency Hospital with doctor and trained attendants in charge assures immediate and efficient medical attention for all injuries.


T HERE is also a clean and modern restaurant with a seating capacity for 650.


A clubhouse, with floor space of over 20,000 square feet, is provided for employees in addition to a ten acre field for athletic sports.
