HOPKINS CLASSICAL SCHOOL, -ON -

DANA HILL.

The design of this School is, not only to prepare boys for the University, but also to fit them for any of the various departments of life. Untiring efforts are made to lead the pupils to the formation of those habits of diligence, cheer- ful submission to just authority, and proper regard for the rights and feelings of others, so essential to the character of a good citizen and an agreeable neighbor. No scholar will be retained after it has become evident that he is re- ceiving no benefit himself, or is inflicting positive injury up- on others. The most perfect frankness will at all times be used, in communicating to parents the faults as well as the virtues of their children, hoping thus to secure their co- operation in correcting the one, or in establishing the other. Grateful for the constantly increasing patronage bestowed upon the School for the last seven years, the subscriber as- sures all those parents, who continue to entrust their chil- dren to his charge, that no efforts will be spared, on his part, to render the School all that can be desired.
