is necessary to make a good bed on these Springs, and they can be fitted to any stead without difficulty.

THE
" NEW ORIENT, "
FOR THE
Parlor, Office, Store or Hall.
Great as has been the "Improvements" of late in stoves for warming, a comparison of this with any other stove, as well as the testimony of all who are using it, satisfactorily attest its INCOMPARABLE SUPERIORITY. Ist. It is unusually neat in appearance. 2d. It requires but 12 pounds of coal in 24 hours. 3d. It produces any amount of heat required. 4th. It thoroughly ventilates while it warms the apartment, producing a current of air moist, pure and agree- able. The register in the cylinder graduates the heat to any temperature, and if required the fire may be preserved the ENTIRE SEASON.
The coal consumes entirely, making no clinkers, and by a new and perfect coal grate the fire is easily quickened, and when required all the ashes are removed, making no dust ; in this respect also this stove has no equal.
The "ventilating pipe" is enclosed in the stove cylinder, thus requiring less room than any other Radiating Stove.
FOR POOR CHIMNEYS it is particularly adapted, having also the DIRECT DRAUGHT.
ANOTHER FEATURE in the Parlor Orient is an origi- nal and curious arrangement, by which, with a slight move- ment, a place appears as if by magic, in which either BAKING OF BOILING can be done at pleasure. Nothing of the kind attempted before in other stoves can compare with this. It works to admiration, and to the most fasti- dious taste is no disfiguration to the stove. A thorough inspection of the stove will satisfy all that it is UNEQUAL- LED.
PRICES, $12, $14 and $16.
Please call and examine it at

To attain the desirable object of placing before the public a reliable article, we have spared neither time nor expense, and the basis upon which we place the virtue of our Whisky is, (for whatever purposes the purest quality may be recommended,) that this is entirely free from any adulteration whatever. Its purity cannot be questioned, as a thorough analysis has been made, as will be seen by re- ferring to the following Certificate, a copy of which accom- panies each bottle :-
STATE ASSAYER'S OFFICE, 32 Somerset Street, Boston, May 20, 1857. 5 MESSRS. WILSON, FAIRBANK & Co.
