Dr. E. D. SPEAR,

SO MUCH CELEBRATED FOR HIS REMARKABLE CURES. Office, 713 Washington Street, BOSTON.

The testimony of many persons who seemed fit tenants for the grave, and who now, happily, enjoy the best of health, is proof sufficient of the great efficacy of the treatment of Dr. E. D. SPEAR. Success has attended the ef- forts of Dr. SPEAR in a wonderful de- gree. "Consumption's ghastly form" has brought terror to many a stout heart, and defied the skill of many an excellent physician. That Dr. SPEAR has restored to perfect health many suffering from this obstinate disease, is an undoubted fact, and the sceptical should be convinced by investigation. - Watchman and Reflector.

A SKILLFUL PHYSICIAN .- We shall perhaps convey no fresh information to the reader when we state that Dr. E. D. SPEAR, 713 Washington street, is one of the most skillful physicians in our city. He has been in active practice for many years, and this in- cludes every variety of disease. He has been particularly successful where other physicians have seemed to fail. All who desire to procure the services of a physician who can be relied upon, should call upon Dr. SPEAR. ..- From the Congregationalist.

WELLFLEET, May 5, 1874.

DR. E. D. SPEAR-Dear Sir: It is with pleasure I acknowledge the great benefit I have received from the use of your medicine. In December, 1861, I was attacked with bleeding from the lungs. In June, 1862, I had another, and a much more severe attack. Í well remember the time I got my sis- ter to write to Dr. SPEAR for his inedi- cine. My bleeding was not any com- mon case. I assure you. After giving the medicine a fair trial it entirely cured me. From that time to this I

have had no bleeding. My health is good. I can work as long as the best of men. My weight is one hundred and fifty, the same as before my sick- ness. I know of no reason why I am not good for thirty years, for I have outlived a large number that thought I would die fourteen years ago.

JOHN G. HIGGINS.

KEENE, N. H., Dec. 8, 1873.

DR. SPEAR. Iam very much better. My lungs felt filled up, but now feel free and easy My appetite is good; I have gained ten pounds. I have been very punctual in taking the med- icine. I think I should have been in my grave but for you. My prayers shall go up to God that he shall bless you and yours.

Respectfully,

MRS. MIRA A. BAKER.

SAND LAKE, N. Y., March 2, '74.

DR. SPEAR,-Dear Sir: Last August you sent me a box of medicine for my son, for bleeding at the lungs. In six weeks he appeared like a new man. He said he would need no more med- icine, for since the first of September until the 20th of February he had not spit any blood. Two weeks ago he took cold, and has raised some blood. Please send, as soon as possible, a box of medicine, and he will pay on deliv- ery. ORLANDO HORTON.

EAST LYME, Conn., Nov. 5, '73. DR. SPEAR,-Dear Sir: Iam thank- ful that God has given you skill to re- lieve the afflicted. I am happy in the thought that I can do anything towards publishing your name to the world. To God be all the glory.

Yours truly, NANCY MANWARREN.

(opposite Temple Place, near Washington Street, between Hovey's and Jordan & Marsh's, Room 6), is one of the most ingen- ious mechanics-we might say artists in the city. He repairs broken glass, china, marble, alabaster, shell, pearl, fine jewelry, watches, clocks, musical boxes, bronze, indeed, al- most anything one can mention, in a per- fect manner. His history is as remarkable as his ingenuity, as interesting as a romance. He lived from youth to manhood with In- dians, and experienced all those remarkable vicissitudes characteristic of savage life in the forests of America.
