VERSES
5 Farewell, dear mother, sweet thy rest.
6 Life's labor done.
9 Farewell my Friends on earth below And those I dearly love It is not long before we'll meet In realms of joy above.
10 How oft the call to one and all Prepare to follow me. How oft the sound comes from the ground For death prepared be.
11 Our father's gone and left this globe And death has clad him in his robe He may be happy now and well Though nature in confusion fell.
12 Calm on the bosom of thy God Fair spirit! rest thee now. Even while with us thy footsteps trod His seal was on thy brow Dust to its narrow house beneath Soul to its place on high ! They that have seen thy look in death No more may fear to die.
13 My hand dear Lord, in thine ! I'll never let it go; Nor will thou e'er my soul resign To endless woe Thy hold will be on me, Amid the din and strife Untill I wake to share with thee Immortal life.
15 A flower lent but not given To bud on earth and bloom in heaven.

VERSES
2/1 Dear parents when my grave you see Remember you must follow me Dear brothers and sisters when you pass by Remember you are born to die.
6/3 Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord.
4/1 And is Roselma gone And has her spirit fled ? Oh ! yes that lovely form Now moulders with the dead.
4/2 Our Frankie dear has gone to rest His little work is done And soon he'll rise with all the blest And in the kingdom bloom.
5/1 Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.
5/2 Dear father thou art gone to rest And this shall be our prayer That when we reach our journeys end Thy glory we may share.
5/3 She passed into her quiet rest As fades the tints of winter skies As drop the Ringdove on her nest As close the flowers when daylight died.
5/4 Rest, little Ellen, Forever rest, From earthly sorrows free Why should we mourn when thou are blest And the Saviour calleth thee.
6/1 For the angels came and called him To live with them above While my heart was all o'erflowing With a mother's earliest love.

VERSES
1/1 This tender bud tho' fading in the tomb Will live again in paradise to bloom.
1/2 The trumpet shall sound and the dead shall arise.
1/3 At rest
2/2 Thou art gone but not forgotten
2/3 In the silent grave we leave thee, Tilli the last great day shall come. Then above we hope to meet thee Happy in our heavenly home.
2/5 Whereas I was blind, now I see.
2/6 Where crystal streams through endless years Flow over golden sands And where the old grow young again I'll clasp my mother's hands.
2/7 My earthly friends, I long for home In realms of endless day And to the heavenly angels come To guide me on my way.
2/9 Fair bud of promise early blast So soon to reach the land of rest To enter thus the school above Where angels teach the law of love.
2/10 Thou art gone who was so cherished And thy smiling face we miss But thy spirit hovers o'er us Beckoning us to realms of bliss. 2/11 He giveth his beloved sleep.
2/13 At rest.

5/2 There is a land of pure delight Where saints immortal reign Infinite day excludes the night And pleasures banish pain.

6/1 Esteemed beloved and called up higher.
6/9 A pleasant plant a blooming flower Cut down & witherd in an hour.
7/2 Farewell dear friends and all below My Saviour calls and I must go.
7/6 Within an hour the fairest flower May wither and decay And you must die as well as I And pass from earth away.
8/10 I take these little lambs said he And lay them in my b. .
8/1 Gone but not forgotten.
8/2 Beautiful lovely he was but given A fair bud on earth to bloom in heaven.
8/3 Her happy soul has winged its way To one pure bright eternal day.
8/4 We shall meet again.
9/1 Farewell dear friends a short farewell Till we shall meet again above.

9/4 Pass a few swiftly fleeting years And all that now in bodies live Shall quit, like me, the vale of tears Their righteous sentence to receive.
9/5 Sleep on sweet babe and take thy rest God called thee home He thought it best.
9/6 Mourn not dear friends I'm freed from pain Your loss is my eternal gain.
9/7 There's rest in the grave Life's toils are all past.
9/8 Behold and read as you pass by As you are now so once was I As I am now so you must be Prepare for death and follow me.
9/9 Hear what the voice from heaven proclaims For all the pious dead They die in Jesus and are blessed How kind their slumbers are From sufferings and from sins released And freed from every snare.
9/10 Farewell ye friends whose tender care Has long engaged my love Your fond embrace I now exchange For better friends above.
9/11 He lived beloved and died lamented.
9/16
Safe in the arms of Jesus.
9/19 He lived beloved - died lamented.
10/2 At rest.
