During the year the books of our Library have been classified by the Dewey system, and are placed upon the shelves, according to the special class to which each belongs. A dictionary card catalogue has also been commenced.

The number of borrowers has increased about 100 per cent. during the past year, and the reading room is also well patronized for the magazines and newspapers found there.

The schools have been making an extensive and systematic use of our books-it being required that students draw special books for home reading during each term of school.

Respectfully submitted,

ALICE E. LUTHER, Librarian.
